This is my all-time favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I got the recipe from my friend Emily Laudie. We lived in the same area and went to church together about 10 years ago. She is one amazing lady. We still get together on New Years Eve every year with a group of families from that area.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 1/3 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg milk chocolate chips
**I usually always add Heath Chips to this dough. It is amazing
Cream together shortening, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. Then add flour, baking soda, salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Place balls of dough on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until just barely brown on top.
