Sour Cream Waffles

I realize that my husband has already perfected the waffle with these waffles.  But last Saturday, we were running short on time, but still wanted to have a "Saturday Breakfast", and so I found this recipe on Sisters Cafe for waffles that were just a little quicker and easier.  They were really good.  Even the husband who is proud of "his" waffles, loved these. Give 'em a try this Saturday!

Sour Cream Waffles

1 3/4 cups flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cube butter, melted
1 cup milk (you can add a little more, if you like a thinner batter)
1/2 cup sour cream
3 large eggs

Heat waffle iron.  Lightly oil the grids.  Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.  Set aside.  In separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, sour cream and eggs until well combined.  Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, whisking all together until smooth.  Do not over mix. Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter in to each fourth of the waffle iron.  cook until waffle is golden brown, about 3 or 4 minutes.

I didn't know people actually made waffles from scratch. These were so amazing that I don't know if I can ever use Bisquick again. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!
