Sour Cream Chicken
I love easy chicken recipes. This is an easy and delicious recipe for chicken. My whole family really likes this. So far I have just used regular ol' bread crumbs when making this. But in the future, I would like to try different flavored bread crumbs, or coarsely ground croutons, or something like that. The original recipe calls for putting little pats of butter on top of the croutons. It is good with or without the butter on top...
Sour Cream Chicken
4-6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
about 1 cup bread crumbs
about 1 cup sour cream
salt
pepper
garlic powder (or any other spices you prefer)
butter (optional)
Place chicken breasts close together in a baking pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Smear a good amount of sour cream over the top of all the chicken, then sprinkle a good layer of bread crumbs over the sour cream. If desired, top the bread crumbs with little pats of butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-60 minutes, or until all chicken is cooked through.
