Cabbage Raman Salad
My neice Megan tried this salad at my house the other night and has been begging me to post the recipe. I don't even know where I got the recipe from, probably an old ward cookbook or something. My kiddos LOVE this salad. I make it for dinner as our main dish (I boil chicken breasts, cut them up and add it to the salad if I am serving it for a main dish) and serve it with breadsticks or garlic bread.
Cabbage Raman Salad
1 package cabbage (for coleslaw)
2 pkg chicken flavored raman noodles
1/3 cup veg. oil
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
Break up raman noodles and toss with cabbage. Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, and both seasoning packets from the raman. Pour dressing over cabbage/noodles and toss.
You may also add:
Chicken
Sunflower seeds
sliced almonds
sliced green onions
